Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Alfreton, DE55

TeacherActive is looking for Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work within lovely private day nurseries across Alfreton and the surrounding DE55 area.

Whether you're looking for flexible day-to-day work, a few days each week or something more consistent, we have opportunities to suit you, including the potential to progress into long-term or permanent employment.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

• Supporting children's learning and development through play

• Planning creative activities in line with the EYFS framework

• Encouraging confidence, independence and curiosity

• Creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment

• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

• Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care

• Working alongside nursery teams to provide high-quality childcare

What We're Looking For

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years

• Previous experience working within a nursery setting

• Good understanding of the EYFS framework

• Knowledge of safeguarding and child development

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for Early Years education
