TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Central York, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Early Years setting where you can develop your skills, support young children's development and progress your career within childcare.
The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development through engaging activities, help maintain a safe and stimulating environment and work closely with the nursery team to deliver high standards of care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable
Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
A hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic approach
A willingness to learn, develop new skills and progress within Early Years
