Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Salary: £13.00 - £14.75 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an independent nursery in Leeds that provides a welcoming and supportive environment for children and staff. The nursery benefits from a forest school approach, giving children opportunities to explore and develop their confidence through engaging outdoor learning experiences.
The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines, learning and play, with opportunities to progress and complete a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• A passion for working with children in an Early Years environment
• Experience supporting children is desirable
• An interest in completing a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification
• A willingness to support children's learning, development and daily routines
• A positive and hard-working approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
