Salary: £13.40 - £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large nursery in York that places a strong focus on outdoor play and creating engaging experiences for children, including regular walks to the local park. The nursery offers a supportive environment with in-house training, CPD and opportunities for Nursery Practitioners to progress into Room Leader positions.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a part-time basis, supporting children with their learning, development and day-to-day care. The successful Nursery Practitioner will help provide a safe, positive and stimulating environment while supporting age-appropriate activities and encouraging children to explore and develop.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• A willingness to engage in indoor and outdoor activities
• A reliable, adaptable and caring attitude
