Salary: £14.25 to £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming early years settings across Llanelli and surrounding areas, including private day nurseries, Flying Start settings and Cylch Meithrin provisions. These settings are committed to providing safe, nurturing and stimulating environments where children can thrive through play-based learning and high-quality early years education.

The nurseries are looking to recruit Nursery Assistants on both full-time and part-time temporary contracts, with opportunities for ongoing work. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across the early years, assisting with daily routines, encouraging learning through play and helping to create a positive and engaging environment for every child.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable
• Experience working within an early years or nursery setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across a range of nursery settings
