TeacherActive is delighted to be working with a friendly private day nursery in the NG15 area that is looking to welcome a committed Nursery Assistant to their team. The nursery provides a warm, inclusive setting where children are encouraged to explore, develop new skills and build confidence through play-based learning.

The nursery is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant to join them on a long-term, part-time basis, working 3 days per week from 8:00am until 5:00pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support the daily routine of the nursery, deliver stimulating activities in line with the EYFS framework and help provide a safe, positive environment where every child can flourish.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, nurturing and enthusiastic approach
• A positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
