Days: 4 days per week OR 5 shorter days

TeacherActive is working with a lovely Forest School setting in Cropwell Bishop that is looking for a Nursery Assistant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a more hands-on approach to Early Years education, supporting children to build confidence, independence and curiosity through outdoor play, exploration and engaging activities.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting children with learning through play and exploration

• Getting involved in fun, creative outdoor activities

• Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment

• Supporting children's individual development and wellbeing

• Working closely with the wider nursery team

• Building positive relationships with children and parents

We're looking for someone who is:

• Caring, patient and enthusiastic

• Confident working with Early Years children

• Happy working outdoors in all seasons

• Reliable and able to use their initiative

• A great team player with strong communication skills

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualified is desirable

The nursery can offer flexibility, with the opportunity to work 4 days per week or 5 shorter days, making this a brilliant option for someone looking for a better work-life balance.
