TeacherActive is proud to be working with a friendly nursery in York that is looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated team. The nursery offers outstanding resources, a large outdoor garden area to encourage learning through play, and a warm, nurturing environment where both children and staff are supported to flourish.

The nursery is looking to appoint a part-time Nursery Assistant with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout the nursery, helping to create engaging learning experiences while working closely with the team to provide high-quality care and education, with excellent opportunities for career progression.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 Childcare qualification or relevant childcare experience desirable
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A willingness to get involved and support the wider nursery team
