Nursery Practitioner – Plymouth
£14.25–£16.00 per hour | Flexible Shifts | Immediate Start

TeacherActive is on the lookout for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Practitioners to support our fantastic nurseries and Early Years settings across Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for a couple of days a week, regular shifts or the freedom to choose when you work, we have opportunities that could be perfect for you!
What will you be doing?
Creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment for children aged 0–5.
Supporting children's learning and development through fun, play-based activities.
Encouraging curiosity, confidence and independence in little learners.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and nursery teams.
Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
Following the EYFS framework and ensuring safeguarding is always a priority.
Bringing creativity, enthusiasm and plenty of positive energy to each day!
What are we looking for?
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or QTS.
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
A caring, patient and enthusiastic personality.
Confidence working with babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Reliability, flexibility and the ability to adapt to different nursery environments.
A good understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS framework.
