TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries across the Leeds LS8/LS9/LS7 area. These nurseries focus on creating safe, engaging and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration and creativity while supporting every child’s individual development.
The nurseries are looking to take on flexible Nursery Assistants for day-to-day cover roles. The successful Nursery Assistant will be expected to support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, assist with daily routines and activities, and work closely with nursery staff to ensure a positive learning environment for children aged 0-5 years. The role would be ideal for anyone who is currently studying Early Years / Primary Education, and is looking for a part-time role to fit around their studies and is wanting to gain more experience working with children!
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
