TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of private day nurseries across York, supporting them with their search for flexible Nursery Assistants. These welcoming settings provide safe, engaging and nurturing environments where children are encouraged to learn through play, creativity and sensory-based activities.
The nurseries are looking to take on flexible Nursery Assistants on a day-to-day and part-time basis, ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience alongside their studies. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children across various age groups, helping with daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
