Nursery Practitioner – Taunton

TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Practitioners to join our wonderful network of nurseries and Early Years settings across Taunton and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for a couple of days a week, regular shifts or something that fits around your busy lifestyle, we'd love to hear from you!
What will your day look like?
Creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5.
Supporting little learners through play, creativity and exploration.
Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social skills.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and nursery teams.
Supporting daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor activities.
Following the EYFS framework and ensuring safeguarding is always a priority.
What are we looking for?
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or QTS.
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
A genuine passion for helping children learn, develop and thrive.
A caring, patient and enthusiastic personality.
Confidence supporting babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different nursery environments.
A good understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS framework.
