TeacherActive is proud to be working with Early Years settings in Torquay to support their need for an Early Years Assistant. These nursery environments provide opportunities for children to learn, explore and develop through play, with a focus on creating a safe, caring and engaging atmosphere.
We are looking for an Early Years Assistant for flexible, part-time, day-to-day and short-term work, supporting children across all Early Years age groups. The successful Early Years Assistant will be expected to work confidently across different nursery rooms, support children's learning in line with the EYFS framework and demonstrate a caring and empathetic approach.
The successful Early Years Assistant will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable but not essential
The ability to work flexibly across different nursery rooms and age groups
A caring, empathetic and adaptable attitude
