TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Chatham, Medway, in their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This warm and positive setting focuses on child engagement through a therapeutic approach, offering age-appropriate indoor and outdoor areas with sensory-enhancing activities that encourage children to explore, challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment.
The nursery is looking to appoint a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, long-term basis, with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across the Early Years age groups, helping to deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), whilst ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
The ability to plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities
Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach
A positive 'can-do' attitude with flexibility and adaptability
