TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large, purpose-built nursery in York that provides an engaging environment for children to learn and develop. The nursery benefits from a dedicated Forest School area, giving children opportunities to explore and learn through outdoor experiences.
The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a permanent, part-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their day, helping to provide a safe, stimulating and positive environment while supporting their learning and development.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- A relevant Early Years qualification is desirable
- Experience working with children within a nursery or Early Years setting
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
- A caring and nurturing approach
- A willingness to support engaging indoor and outdoor activities
- A positive and adaptable attitude
