TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in Bolton that provides high-quality care and Early Years education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The nursery has a warm and nurturing atmosphere and is committed to creating a stimulating environment where every child is encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and curiosity.

The nursery is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner on a temporary basis, with the potential for a longer-term placement for the right Nursery Practitioner. You will support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework, plan and deliver age-appropriate activities through play, maintain a safe and stimulating environment and build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification - essential
• A minimum of 3 months' experience working within a nursery or childcare setting in the UK
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and learning through play
• The ability to provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for young children
• SEND experience is desirable but not essential
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with strong communication and teamwork skills
