Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £14.25 - £15.00 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery based in Sheffield, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner. The nursery provides a welcoming and nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop through play.
The nursery is looking to take on a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful Nursery Practitioner will have the opportunity to work across multiple nursery rooms, supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework, with working hours between 8am and 6pm.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
Confidence supporting children across different age groups and nursery rooms
A positive, caring and enthusiastic approach to childcare
Flexibility, adaptability and strong communication skills
