TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small independent nursery in York (YO31) that has achieved a Good OFSTED rating. The nursery provides a warm, nurturing environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, supported by a dedicated team who are committed to delivering high-quality early years education.

The nursery is looking to appoint a permanent Nursery Practitioner for an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children in their early development, deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework and work closely with colleagues to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, with excellent opportunities for further training and progression into a Room Leader role.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality care and education
