Nursery Practitioner – Chelmsford
TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and welcoming early years setting in Chelmsford.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate Nursery Practitioner who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to make a positive difference to children’s early years experiences.
The setting provides a caring and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore and develop. You will be joining an experienced team and playing an important role in supporting the children throughout their day.
The Nursery Practitioner Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children with their daily routines, learning and development while helping to create a safe and engaging environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting children through play and planned activities
• Helping to provide a safe and nurturing environment
• Supporting children's learning and development
• Building positive relationships with children and colleagues
• Working as part of the wider nursery team
• Supporting daily routines and the individual needs of the children
• Following EYFS guidance and nursery procedures
What we're looking for:
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A genuine passion for working with children
• A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and committed individuals
The role is available for an immediate start, although candidates currently working a notice period can also be considered.
