Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Salary: £12-£14 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day nursery in Wakefield, who are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children's early development, encourage creativity and help create a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
The nursery is looking to take on a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a long-term basis, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available for an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children through play-based learning, engaging activities and daily routines, while promoting their social, emotional and physical development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:
A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children
A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
The ability to create fun, engaging and age-appropriate learning activities
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
A positive 'can-do' attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
