TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming private day nursery based in the DE55 area, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Assistant. The nursery provides a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children are encouraged to learn through play and develop confidence from an early age.
The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis, working 3 days per week from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children within the nursery, helping to deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum while ensuring the children's wellbeing and development remain at the heart of everything they do.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
