Nursery Practitioner – Torquay

TeacherActive is on the lookout for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Nursery Practitioners to support our lovely nurseries and Early Years settings across Torquay and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for a couple of days a week or regular flexible shifts, we'd love to help you find opportunities that fit around your lifestyle!
What will you be doing?
Creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5.
Supporting children's learning and development through creative, play-based activities.
Building positive relationships with children and nursery teams.
Helping with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
Encouraging children's confidence, independence and curiosity.
Following the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
What are we looking for?
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification, or QTS.
Previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
A warm, patient and enthusiastic personality.
Confidence supporting babies, toddlers and preschool children.
Reliability, flexibility and the ability to adapt to different nursery environments.
Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
