TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Kitts Green that are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Part-Time Teachers to join their teams from September 2026.
This role would suit an experienced teacher who enjoys variety and is confident teaching across multiple year groups. The successful candidate will be flexible with their availability and able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
The schools are looking for teachers who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff, deliver engaging lessons, and create a supportive learning environment where all children can succeed.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience teaching within a primary school setting
- The ability to teach across a range of year groups
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
- A passion for delivering high-quality education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Adapt teaching styles to suit different year groups and learning needs
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and senior leaders
- Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Be flexible with their availability
- Be able to provide two professional references, including references from recent employers
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain a new Enhanced DBS through TeacherActive
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
