Pe Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools across Derby who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated PE Teacher. These schools aim to provide positive learning environments where students are encouraged to develop their physical abilities, build confidence and understand the importance of health, fitness and teamwork.

The PE Teacher will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with the possibility of securing long-term positions within local secondary schools. The successful PE Teacher will deliver practical and theory-based Physical Education lessons across KS3 and KS4, maintain excellent classroom management and support students of different abilities to develop their skills and achieve their potential.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Physical Education specialism (ECTs are also welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school

• Experience delivering practical and theory-based PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
