TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher. The school provides a learning environment where pupils of all abilities can access the curriculum and develop their confidence, independence and academic skills.
The school is looking for a flexible Primary Teacher to provide supply cover across Key Stage 2 / KS2, with a particular focus on supporting pupils with SATs preparation in English and Maths. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, demonstrate strong classroom management and adapt teaching approaches to support children with SEND, ensuring all pupils are appropriately challenged and supported.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2 in a UK primary school
Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and experience supporting Year 6 SATs preparation
Experience adapting lessons and differentiating learning to support pupils with SEND
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
