Salary: £95 – £110 per day, depending on experience

TeacherActive is looking to expand our pool of experienced and reliable School Administrators to support schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We work with a wide range of primary and secondary schools, with regular opportunities for experienced administrators to support school offices on a day-to-day, short-term and longer-term basis.

As a School Administrator, you could be supporting the day-to-day running of the school office, dealing with enquiries from parents and visitors, maintaining accurate pupil records, supporting attendance processes and providing administrative support to teaching and leadership staff.

Experience using Arbor is highly desirable, alongside confidence using Microsoft Office and other school administration systems.

The successful School Administrator will ideally have:

• Previous administrative experience within a school setting
• Experience using Arbor or another school MIS
• Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience maintaining accurate pupil and school records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• A professional, approachable and reliable manner
• The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents, staff and visitors
• An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding within a school environment
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider school team
• Flexibility and adaptability when working across different school settings
