TeacherActive is currently recruiting Primary Teachers with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for regular supply assignments across NG16. These roles are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety, adapt confidently to different classroom environments, and bring a positive, collaborative approach to school life. There is potential for regular supply work to develop into a long-term placement, providing the opportunity to build lasting relationships and become an integral part of the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons using the school’s planning materials.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse abilities and learning needs.
Maintain a positive, purposeful classroom atmosphere.
Adhere to school behaviour policies and established routines.
Assess pupils’ understanding and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and school staff.
Provide clear handover notes for the class teacher.
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures rigorously.
Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
Secure understanding of the primary curriculum.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
An inclusive, adaptable, and engaging teaching style.
A reliable work ethic and professional demeanour.
Confidence to settle quickly into new classroom settings.
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupil progress.
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
