TeacherActive is looking for a committed Primary Teacher for regular supply work across lovely primary schools in Newark and the NG24 area.
Working in welcoming, supportive schools, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, helping pupils stay motivated and make progress. This opportunity suits a reliable teacher who takes pride in their work, adapts confidently to different classrooms and builds positive relationships with pupils and staff. For the right teacher, regular supply work could lead to a long-term placement.
What does the role involve?
Delivering engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2.
Following lesson plans and adapting activities to meet pupils’ needs.
Maintaining a positive classroom with clear expectations.
Supporting pupils with SEND within mainstream classrooms.
Providing useful feedback to the class teacher.
Following each school’s safeguarding procedures and policies.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in UK primary schools.
Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
A caring, enthusiastic approach and strong work ethic.
Excellent communication, reliability and flexibility.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
