Job Title: KS2 Primary School Teacher
Location: Wakefield
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £140 - £225 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Wakefield and the surrounding areas. We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Primary School Teachers to provide day-to-day cover across a variety of school settings.
The majority of opportunities will be day-to-day supply, allowing you to choose the days you want to work while building experience across different primary schools. Longer-term and permanent positions may also become available depending on individual schools' staffing requirements.
As a KS2 Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, following existing planning where provided, supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum, maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring pupils remain engaged with their learning.
The successful KS2 Primary School Teacher will have:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – ECTs are encouraged to apply
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
Confidence teaching English, Maths and other core primary subjects
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A flexible and adaptable approach to working across different schools
A commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupil progress
