Pay: £170–£220 per day, depending on experience
Start: ASAP
⏰ Hours: Full-time or 4 days per week
Role: Long-term Primary SEND Teacher

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEND school in the Hodge Hill area that is looking for an experienced Primary SEND Teacher to join their team.

The school is looking for a confident and compassionate teacher with strong SEND experience, particularly supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and behavioural difficulties.

This role would suit someone who is comfortable adapting learning, managing challenging behaviour and creating a structured, engaging classroom environment where pupils with additional needs can thrive.

The successful Primary SEND Teacher will:

✅ Hold QTS – essential
✅ Have strong experience working within SEND settings
✅ Have experience supporting pupils with SLD and complex learning needs
✅ Be confident managing challenging behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies
✅ Be able to adapt lessons and activities to meet individual EHCP targets
✅ Have a calm, patient and resilient approach
✅ Be available for either 4 or 5 days per week
