Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated Primary & Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive and nurturing special needs school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to young children with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver individualized learning plans.
  • Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children in developing essential social, emotional, and early academic skills.
  • Assist in managing challenging behavior with patience and positivity.
  • Work with parents, carers, and professionals to ensure each child’s success.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young children with SEND, especially Autism and Asperger’s.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine desire to support children with special needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility and a proactive mindset to adapt to varying situations.
