Salary: £130 - £180 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Southport, Sefton, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. The school provides a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop their confidence, engage in learning and achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day supply and long-term opportunities, with an immediate start available. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons where required, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and adapting their teaching to meet the needs of pupils across the primary curriculum.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcome to apply

• Experience teaching within a mainstream primary school setting

• Confidence planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary curriculum

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to promote positive behaviour

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• A flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
