TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated mainstream primary school in Derby that is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school provides a positive and inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to enjoy learning and achieve their full potential.

The successful Primary Teacher will work three days per week from September 2026 until Christmas 2026, providing planned PPA cover across KS1 and KS2. The Primary Teacher will be expected to confidently teach across all primary year groups, follow existing lesson plans, manage classroom behaviour and adapt quickly to the needs of each class.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS, with ECTs also welcome to apply
• Experience teaching across KS1 and KS2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• The ability to adapt confidently to different year groups and classroom environments
• A flexible, enthusiastic and professional approach
