TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Measham, DE12, who are looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teacher. The school is seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual who can deliver high-quality early years education, encourage children's independence and create a stimulating learning environment that supports their development.
The school is looking to take on an EYFS Teacher on a full-time, long-term maternity cover basis from January 2027 until July 2027, working within an Early Years Foundation Stage classroom. The successful EYFS Teacher will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing children's progress, managing classroom behaviour and working closely with support staff to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The successful EYFS Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching within an EYFS setting, ideally within a mainstream primary school
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development
Confidence planning, delivering and assessing engaging, play-based learning activities
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
A caring, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
