TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Newport that is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school has a strong community ethos and a dedicated staff team who work collaboratively to ensure every child is supported, challenged and encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging lessons, preparing pupils for SATs and supporting their transition into secondary education while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (NQTs are also encouraged to apply)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Experience teaching Year 6 pupils

• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and SATs preparation

• Excellent classroom management skills

• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
