TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic Supply Primary School Teacher to work with a supportive primary school in the NG16 area.

The role

As a Supply Primary School Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the UK curriculum
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom
• Adapt activities to support different abilities and learning needs
• Assess pupils’ progress and provide constructive feedback
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and other school staff
• Follow the school’s safeguarding, behaviour and teaching policies
• Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families

The successful Supply Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills
• A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Confidence supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Two suitable professional references
