Start Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher. The school is seeking a positive and motivated individual who can create an engaging learning environment and support pupils in achieving their full potential.

The school is looking to take on an experienced Primary Teacher on a long-term basis, providing cover for staff sickness across Year 1 / KS1 and Year 3 / KS2. The successful Primary Teacher will need to be immediately available, flexible and confident in delivering exciting lessons, maintaining strong classroom management and adapting their teaching to meet the needs of pupils across both year groups.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS

• Experience teaching within Year 1 / KS1 and Year 3 / KS2

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

• Excellent classroom management and the ability to deliver creative, engaging lessons

• Flexibility and adaptability when working across different year groups

• An energetic, positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
