TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Breedon on the Hill with a dedicated SEND hub supporting children across EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1. The provision supports non-verbal pupils with additional needs and is looking for an experienced SEN Teacher who can provide a supportive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The school is looking to appoint an SEN Teacher on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start. The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver appropriate learning for pupils within the SEND hub, adapting lessons to individual needs while supporting communication, engagement, progress and independence.
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience teaching children with SEND
• Experience working across EYFS and Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Experience supporting non-verbal pupils
• The ability to plan and adapt learning to meet individual needs
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
