Job Title: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Salford
Start Date: After October half term
Salary: £160 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Salford that has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a passion for learning.
The school is looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, starting after October half term. The successful Year 1 Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 1 class, delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 / KS1 curriculum and supporting pupils with their academic and personal development.
The successful Year 1 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status / QTS
- Experience teaching within a UK primary school
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1, with Year 1 experience desirable
- Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
