TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Ordsall, Salford, that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teacher. Rated 'Good' by OFSTED, the school has built a caring community where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and a love of learning within a supportive and inclusive environment.
The school is looking to appoint a Year 1 Teacher on a long-term temporary basis with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Year 1 Teacher. The successful Year 1 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the Year 1 curriculum, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and working closely with colleagues to provide the very best outcomes for every child.
The successful Year 1 Teacher will have:
- QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 1
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A caring, positive and proactive approach to teaching
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
