What the role involves:
Supporting learning through classroom, small-group and one-to-one activities.
Helping children build confidence, independence and social skills.
Adapting support to different abilities, including pupils with SEND.
Working alongside teachers to create a welcoming, inclusive classroom.
Encouraging positive behaviour and keeping children engaged.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children in a UK education setting.
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or childcare qualification, desirable.
A caring, proactive approach and the flexibility to adapt.
Strong communication skills and a passion for children’s development.
A commitment to safeguarding and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
