TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants for flexible supply work across a range of schools in Nottingham and the East Midlands.
Whether you are looking for occasional days or more regular work, this is an opportunity to gain experience in different school settings while making a positive difference to children’s learning.
The role includes:
Supporting pupils individually, in small groups and within the classroom.
Helping teachers deliver engaging lessons and learning activities.
Adapting support to meet pupils’ individual needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
Working alongside school staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience supporting children in an educational setting.
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or suitable experience.
A patient, approachable and adaptable attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing.
An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
