TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic and committed Primary Teaching Assistants to work with Primary Schools across Grimsby and the wider area.
We're looking for individuals who enjoy working with children and are confident supporting teachers in creating a positive, engaging learning environment.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping deliver classroom activities, working with small groups or providing additional support to individual children.
We recruit for a variety of opportunities, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements. Whether you're looking for flexible working days or a more consistent placement, we'll discuss your experience and availability to help identify suitable roles.
What we're looking for:
Experience working with primary-aged children in a school or relevant educational setting
A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
Confidence supporting classroom learning and small-group activities
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A patient, reliable and enthusiastic approach
Experience supporting pupils with SEND is an advantage but not essential
