TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Bradford who are looking to appoint a Primary Teaching Assistant. The school provides an inclusive and supportive learning environment for pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with SEND who require additional support.
The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for day-to-day or long-term work with an Immediate Start. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will work across KS1 and KS2, providing classroom and 1:1 support to pupils with SEND while helping children access learning, develop their confidence and make positive progress.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Experience providing 1:1 support
- A patient, adaptable and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
