Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work with Primary Schools across Grimsby and the wider area.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity or looking for greater flexibility in your working week, we would love to hear from you. We have opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including day-to-day supply, short-term cover and longer-term placements.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils with their learning, encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities may include providing general classroom support, working with small groups or delivering 1:1 assistance to pupils who require additional support.

We are looking for Primary Teaching Assistants who have:

• Experience working with primary-aged children in a school or relevant educational setting

• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• The ability to support pupils with different learning needs, including SEND

• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach to working with children

• The confidence to work independently and as part of a wider school team
