Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary: £90 - £105 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a primary school in Bristol who are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant. The school provides education for pupils across the primary age range, including children with additional needs and SEND, and is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide effective classroom support.
The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis, working across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils with their learning, including children with additional needs or SEND, assist the class teacher with classroom activities and help create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:
A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
Experience working with children in a primary school setting
Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND
Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
Strong communication skills
A patient, adaptable and proactive approach
