TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Bolton that is looking to appoint a Psychology Teacher. This is an opportunity to teach across three social science subjects, helping students explore human behaviour, society and crime.

The school is looking to take on a Psychology Teacher on a long-term, part-time basis from November, working three days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You must be able to teach Sociology and Criminology alongside Psychology, with responsibilities including planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress and maintaining effective classroom management.

The successful Psychology Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Psychology
• The ability to teach both Sociology and Criminology
• Strong lesson planning, assessment and classroom management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a reliable, committed approach
