TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Glastonbury that supports students with Specific Learning Differences / SpLD, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and dysgraphia. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment, using an innovative blended learning approach to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher on a full-time temporary basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will teach students aged 7 to 16, planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons while working closely with teaching assistants and the wider school team to support academic progress and personal development.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS / Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching children or young people with SEND, particularly Specific Learning Differences / SpLD
• Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and differentiated learning
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A patient, flexible and nurturing approach to teaching
• A genuine passion for helping students achieve positive outcomes
