TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Bolton, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is seeking a Science Teacher to engage pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.

The school is looking to appoint a Science Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from December. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons, marking pupils’ work and maintaining a positive, focused classroom environment.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism
• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the secondary Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning needs
• Effective planning and marking skills to support pupil progress
• Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic, adaptable approach
