We are working with a well-established two-form entry mainstream Secondary School in Stockport, rated 'Good' by OFSTED, that is seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people and deliver engaging Science lessons in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

The Role

As the successful Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and well-planned Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where students can thrive.

• Assess, monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.

• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.

• Contribute to the wider school community and work collaboratively with colleagues within the Science department.

• Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and academic achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

• Has previous experience teaching within a UK Secondary School.

• Has excellent subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.

• Is confident teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics at Key Stage 3, with the ability to teach a Science specialism at Key Stage 4 being advantageous.

• Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

• Is committed to raising standards and inspiring students to achieve their full potential.

• Demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills.
